Blood Orange TB cocktail

This is my variation of the blood orange tequila beer drink.


Ingredients:


- 2oz tequila
- Lime juice
- Ginger beer
- Ice
- 2oz blood orange italian soda
- Sugar for garnish along glass rim
- Juice of 2 blood oranges freshly squeezed


Makes 1 drink
 
Ok let's get mixing! In the cocktail shaker, combine the ice, the italian soda, Tequila, & a quick squeeze of the lime juice. Then shake it all up. (Don't shake it to much. The italian soda is carbonated.)


Pour beverage into a glass with ice. Add the ginger beer, stir lightly and top off with a splash of fresh squeezed blood orange juice.  If you want to get fancy you could garnish with blood orange slices and rim the glass with sugar.

All ingredients for this drink were bought @ Target, except for the Tequila. Remember, I live in Utah.
