1 pound roast
beef sandwich meat
8 slices
sharp cheeseFrench bread
4 T apricot jam (heaping)
8-10 dashes Tabasco sauce
1/8 t ground ginger
This may
sound like a weird combination….but it is AMAZING!!
In a bowl
put in 4 heaping tablespoons of apricot jam, add in the Tabasco, ginger &
mix – Slice the bread and spread the jam mixture on both sides of the bread – Layer
on the cheese (2 slices per sandwich) – Add the roast beef and serve.
*NOTE* - You
can add less or more of the ginger and Tabasco sauce. It’s about finding the right
taste that’s fits you.
My hubs love
the spread so we make a little extra so it’s dripping off his sandwich.
I rip out some of the bread. Less carbs & more room for yumminess. |
